About Me

Who I Am

My name is Georgios Basilios Roros, friends and family call me George. I was born September 30, 1996 in Baltimore, Maryland and moved with my family to a town in Harford County called Bel Air (No not where Will Smith Lived in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air).

I have been a tinkerer since I was young. I always loved to experiment with what was around me. Though I was better at taking things apart, than I was at putting them together.

For schooling I attended Patterson Mill Middle/High School. In the tenth grade I enrolled in a basic computer programming class, and found a love and curiosity for a subject that I had never felt before, Computer Science. Such an interesting skill to have, with such raw power, and limitless possibilities. I spent a lot of my time playing around with computers and programming in my room after that day. I had to learn more…

What I Do

What do i do? Well, that’s quite a difficult question to answer. I do a lot of things, because I have a lot of interests. From reading a book in the morning (no not a story book, probably a business or computer oriented book), to Mixed Martial Arts Club at night. My interests vary. but what I love to do most is create. Create websites, apps, games, servers, artificially intelligent programs, and really anything I can get my hands on and my head around. I even like to create businesses.

I am currently working on my first business Greight Sites, a web design and development company. I have spent a year in trial and error, since I went in knowing nothing about how business or money worked, but I have finally figured it out, and my business is really starting to take off. If you want to learn more about what i do check out the projects page.

What I Believe

I believe with hard work (truly hard work not just pretending, the grind knows!), dedication, and a plan, your possibilities are limitless. Not to say you will always succeed (Where’s the fun in that?), but when you do you will know all your time and effort was worth it, and when you do not you have probably been given a valuable lesson.

How you treat others is also important. Someone who is kind, caring, and focused could lead an army into battle, or simply make someones day.

Most Importantly, I believe that we are born onto this earth for a reason, To further the knowledge and enlightenment of the world and leave it better than when we came. I believe this is best stated by the 28th President, Woodrow Wilson, “You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.”

Work hard, be honest, and stay true to your vision my friends.
